Before we played and chased each other everyday.
Today, we walk pass each other, like strangers.
Before we talked on the phone,
or face to face,
Anger, tears, everything.
We poured our hears out.
Today we chat on msn,
say lol,
with the moodiest face ever.
What happened to us, honestly?
What happened to you, to me?
Did an earthquake change us all?
A tsunami?
A tornado?
An avalanche, maybe?
No, it was us,
we changed,
both you and me.
You don't believe me,
I don't trust you.
What happened to us?
Please, tell me.
I asked myself, what do best friends do,
My mind disobeyed and thought about you.
Flashbacks came alive,
Our memories arrive.
My control lost,
Frozen tears defrost.
I missed the times
I miss the days when
We laughed with pure laughter.
I miss the days when
We fought hard, but were never apart.
I miss the days when
We joked with each other, and horsed around.
I miss those days when
We cried out hearts out.
I miss those days when
We were best friends.
I miss the old you,
the old me.
I miss the old us, can I have them back?
